In their most recent meeting held in October, the women hosting did not only put on face masks, they also went ahead, in the spirit of unity, to put on matching t-shirts, black trousers, and aprons alongside protective hair bonnets made from the Kente African fabric.
This beautiful
innovation worth emulating, goes a long way to showcase the creativity and
ingenuity of the MOHWA Buea women despite the pandemic and also exhibits their
passion for authenticity. It also serves as a call and a reminder to the world
that COVID-19 is real therefore everyone should strive to protect themselves
and others.
"When women get together as a group, it is immensely powerful"
